Its been a while that I been penned down and wrote something .

Life is like caught up between busy schedules  at work and family and travel and all the other important things in life . I have  always wanted to independent , by my self  focused on my career maintaining a balance between work and family , but I must tell it is a tough job .

This year 2018 , started with a positive note and it went  on from starting a new job  to staying away from family . I have explored myself thoroughly and I knew that there are no boundaries to your capabilities .  I couldn't drive a car to the local Walmart store without guidance and today I drive 5 hours a day to and from New York . I really cant believe I'm doing this everyday  but this made me more confident towards life . Now I know there is not a thing in the world that you can't do . You must only have the focus and want for doing it and then nothing is impossible .

The words I am writing above is so common and people advise them often , but believe me as I write each word , there is a experience related to it  , a  process which made it happen and the feeling that makes me even stronger for every deed that i acknowledge .  I got pulled over by the cops , got traffic tickets , went to the US courts , had accidents , but everything has only smoldered me to out shine myself .

Speaking about being positive , the time when I was driving and got a traffic ticket , I was on 85 on a 55 zone , and I am thankful I got that one because only after that I have been driving sober or may I would have crashed and met a major accident .

With all the ups & downs rolling around , what was even more important was , what would my kid go through , I must thank my husband and kid for understanding what I was going through and supporting me in this decision .  I must say it is difficult to be a working mom , there are challenges and your attention is divided , yet has to be focused.

Juggling between the various scenes of Life , you must yet live  it like another glad day and thank God for everything that is hapening around  .

Chuck-e-Cheese

Chuck-e-Cheese , Like every other kid , this is Vedu's favorite hangout . She loves this place like crazy . She waits for Saturday throughout the week just to visit this entertainment center  which has all those animated  games  and an indoor arcade . Chucky is a mouse and because he loves cheese , I believe they named him Chuck-e-Cheese .
This Saturday was a lazy one , it was cold & cloudy , we had a hearty lunch, a nice noon nap and up in the evening , we were about to go shopping , but then we thought to make this this girl happy & raced here . She was all nuts . Usually Dad brings her here quite often but now the entire family was tripping here .

No sooner than we step in that she  said , I know where is where , come let me show you . We didn't have to tell her which ride was good and all . Now she decides what to play and where to sit .

She sat on this car  & said , Can you please click a picture of me ,sitting with Chucky on this car .

We didnt have to tell her which game was what , she jumped here to there like a hare .
The tickets that pop out of the machine after you play  the game , was the most exciting part of all . 

She ran to the photo booth & said , I want to take a picture . No , you don't press the buttons , I will do it all 

This horse ride race was like you had to cue the horse with the reins properly and the faster you do it , the horse runs faster and she  had to shake up the horse to get it moving .

On the dancing machine , she was a jumping jack .

I guess , this Jurassic Park game where you had to fight dinosaurs was the best of all , It had the effects and the seats were shaking , thrilling sounds , you literally had all the feel to bash up real dinos . 

And this , this was the last part was the coolest of all , where you have to count all the tickets that you receive as rewards for all the games that you play , count them them & receive a small gift against the value of the number of tickets you have . We had 53 tickets and now it was time to stand in line to collect the gift . 

And the gift she choose was priceless for her , A Purple diamond shape ring that would match perfectly with her doll's Sophia's purple Amulet . She was all showing it off proudly to Dad . 

                             

The last part was meeting all these puppets all stage , who mimic acting and dancing . Now this is Chucky and the duck is Helen Henny . She shook hands , felt them & kept touching them . There was music around and a few dance moves kept this girl happy . 

Time to say Good Bye , we promised her that we'll bring her again on a weekend her and it was late enough , we've been in here for the past 2 hours and have to go back home. She had no fuss this time and was happy to leave .

See you again Chuck-e-Cheese ... Wait untill we meet . 

Now let me tell you , this is a great place to hang out with kids , the kids love it and can be themselves ,run around, eat and play ..  The prices are also quite reasonable ,, You recharge with 10$, it gives you 20 points and each game takes not more than a point or 2 . So you haven't been there , you gotta go there some weekend ,.its just perfect for Winters and the cold weather  and for Summers, the options like you all know are limitless.

Dumb Chardes is our game
     But  playing cards makes us lame

The boys love a doodle army game (mini militia)    
     The girls get fancy with all their tales

Noise around , all blabbers
     Weekend plans are made

Midnight already, time to go home
    Not a yawn ,shut tomorrow's alarm

A Spring Sunday .

The biting cold was coming to a close , and the weather was getting warmer , temperatures rose and Spring was finally in . It was green everywhere and flowers were budding  and like every year  we go to a park or somewhere where we can see the spring flowers in full bloom, the beautiful colours , take pretty pictures and have a pleasant time outdoors . Every year we go to Branch Brook , this is a Park in  Essex County, New Jersey . We wanted to go elsewhere this time . And then it was decided that we go to the Warinanco Park,New Jersey . 

And by group I meant , we are a group of 5 humorous fun living couples who live,roam and merry together . This is quite a large group plus 2 children . When you adventure together , the fun doubles and triples .

The park was full of Sakura trees  in full blossom . 

We reached the place around 1pm in the noon & it was bright , sunny  &  colourful . We had our food packed and  all the small little fun things to keep us busy , cards, music & the camera ofcourse .

Eat & Relax

It was also a easter sunday , so the park was full of  children dresses all colorful. There were families picnicking , kids running around  and pets loitering around . What we could stop was clicking pictures  and posing . 

Vedu narrates the story of Nemo to Papa

Papa comes home from office & Vedu darling is all exciting , exciting to tell Papa The Nemo story  , the story I read to her before she went to bed.
She surely did understand the story , and  she narrates it to Dad , she adds her own whims & fancies & presents the story in her style .




MOM : Can you tell this story of Nemo to Papa from the beginning .

DAD: Is this Nemo
No this is Marlin , Nemo's dad
Only one baby is left and he is damaged
DAD: What next
DAD : Are they Nemo's friends .
Yes  they  are .  He (marlin) asked Nemo not to go far ,
But nemo's  friends said lets go for  a stroll
DAD : Where did they want to go
They wanted to go alone
Nemo's  dad ,Marlin say them leaving in the wild
Marlin Dad got very angry
He said
Why are you going
Nemo said : I'm strong , strong enough
And then
A diver caught him ( Nemo )
See how scared he( Nemo )  looked then
DAD : What did the diver do then
The diver's mask fell off

The shark said I dont eat fish
Then he ( marlin) saw , HE SAW
Then they saw ( Dory & Marlin )  lot of bubbles
And then they saw something down there
Then he came ..
DAD : Who , Dory ...
No
Look over here
DAD : Who is this  looking dangerous
The diver with the mask
Then when they( Marlin & Dory ) ,  the jelly fish bite them
DAD:  Is this Daddy Fish , the big one .
This is the turtle
And this is Marlin
DAD: who is marlin
Nemo's dad . yes .
They are going to find Nemo
Where is Nemo .
Where did the diver take Nemo to
yes  ,, THEN..

DAD: What happened then
Then they went like this
And this is the Doctor
He cleans everything
Then what happened
They they threw everything here
And see who is here
A fin ( she meant the Pelican ) and he gave them(Marlin & Dory )  water  from his nose
And then the Pelican came here ( to the dentists office)
DAD : They  ( fish ) fell  down & are not in water ..
Did they not die
NO
They the pelican put them back in his mouth & flew away
Next  what happened
Then they made Nemo alright
DAD : Why did they tie Nemo in a packet
He ( Doctor)  was giving Nemo away
The girl took nemo away
And then
And then Nemo hit his Dad a lot
And then the Docter put him in drain
And then Nemo was in the waters
Marlin was crying a lot , because
his baby was caught
in the divers glasses
Then the Shark came back again
DAD : Did he find his baby
The Shark came back again
See  , he bit
Then all the other fishes were still in the packets
Then the turtle came and saved Nemo
Mom : Is your Story finished
Dad : Good Girl
DAD :  Now you now the story of Nemo
Sister ,Do you like the story
Yes , YES

DAD: Youre  a big girl now

Easter at School.

Notifications pops , recieved a mail from her school saying , Parents are invited to attend the Easter show at school from 10Am onwards .  I was all excited , because this was the first time I would be attending any of her school events . I wa anxious to see what she would do .

I never had easter show or easter hunt at school , so it was like a first hand experience of what was going to happen .

Cherry blossoms.

                   
 Weathers bright and shiny out
      Plus a Easter sunday we shouted about

Spring is in and  flowers all around
      Sounded like a perfect day to hang out

Mats and bats,foods and goods,
     Trees and shades , we picnicked out

In the open green, pink flowers colored the sky, 
       smell of barbecue added to the shout

Kids ran to hunt the easter eggs
       lenses flashed to shoot the lovely hue

Up on trees, climbed a few  hot heads
       On swings relaxed some cold souls

A park so big and green, 
        we strolled ,walking and talking by

Clouds crumbled and crackled loud, 
        with the mesmerizing breeze winding by

A gust of heavy rain showered in,
        we shrieked and sheltered under a blossomed  tree.

What a Shaky  frail  tree ,
        drenching seeping wet were we 

That was the moment lovely of all 
      And  the Sun came back to see it all...

It was  a great day we had,  
        thanks to the Rain and Sun for making it glad.
