Live as the world comes to a end .

Written in 2003 . My 1st year of Engg in Bhubaneswar, Orissa .

Today I laugh , enjoy ,sing a song , not of harmony and rhythm but to a tune where my hearts trumpet blows , the chords of my sensational guitars are plucked and my body well adjusts itself to the drumming voice of my hands clap and I rejoice , puddling all my emotions to the one corner of brightness and joy .

The world may be bright enough today but for what surety of seeing the other day's dawn which though might seem to be  a matter of a night but may take the world                                                                         to its stride .

The sun might never rise again , the birds would no more chirp, no ray beaming in any instant radiance, no brilliance of the world's beauty any more .

Only the dark ,black, evil  veil of darkness covering the world.

Why should then my chords of music beat in rhythms,
Why should I laugh and rejoice to my hearts full content ? WHY ?
In sorrow of the day not to come again or for the happiness for the night to stay all throughout to keep the dirts of sin still behind veils of holiness and righteousness.

Tick Tick Clock , Dont you stop .

This was written in 2003 , my first year of Engg College in Bhubaneswar.
The Clock, the clock marching up and down , round and round, day in and day out , without any shout for a day's rest , not even for a hour or a minute or  a second's rest  or even if there's something less than a second, that somethings rest . We the most horrible slave of the world who will never remain as a slave for even a part  of our lives will never even free this innocent quiet slave under us . But what if all the Citizen,Quartz and Titan and Sonata watches and clocks and wall watches and sorts start a  protest , a protest  for freedom and strike off their work ceasing all their functions and duties . Well, we would be just like hooligans then making nothing of ourselves but still claiming to be the best having just a handful of dungs in our heads .

The Summer Rain

This article was written in The Spring, April  of 2003, when I was in in first year of Engg College in Bhubaneswar .

I still remember sitting in my hostel room in the BJB Colony & watching the first summer rain .. We were a group of girls who lived our best days and enjoyed the most crazy ways ..

The sky was full of old grey stooping clouds all hanging out from their lounging place to enjoy the first cool breeze of summer rain.
The onset of Spring, buds & seedlings all sprayed in one hue, like green   "manna" sprinkled all the way from heaven.
A bloom in all bosoms, swinging in the melodies of the cuckoo.
The world all swimming in a ocean of gayness....
Then suddenly all the grey clouds darkened in one hard voice of the striking thunder and slowly, one by one lovely pearl drops full with the passionate desire to merge with the earth's crust keeps wailing from above.
The fluffy, long aged pearly silver drops of water wept and soiled the earth in sorrow of leaving their heavenly abode , but they churned their sadness into happiness by designing and fabricating their new sinful wonderful home , the earth with the brightest rainbow ever.

This is an illustration of how the rain drops leaves their homes, the clouds their parents, and travel miles downwards spreading happiness and greenery throughout ..
Someplaces which are not your home can yet be the most beautiful place to live in , only if you have the desire to make it so .

The Niagara Falls

THE   NIAGARA   FALLS

White as Snow ,Pure as milk, Niagara Falls was as Silk .
Picture Perfect , Gushing Flow,at a height stood it tall .
Cold Winds, Fresh air ,the mesmerizing breeze was all there .
Raincoats Blue, Boats grooved,Maid of Mist did we float .
Tiny Drops , sprinkled off, to the face was like grace.
Like the Rains from heaven , the falls sound roared loud.
US & Canada on a bridge stood apart, under the same sky that sheltered them both .
Yellow and green,,red and blue, bold and bright, sprung from the falls at night.
Sparkling and shinning in a warm summer night, looked like a cloud in colourful attire.
You gotta see it once and cherish memories for a lifetime,  the Niagara Falls ,yes the Niagara Falls.

The Trip to Maine

Happy birthday America and that was the action of the plan.
Office leaves at a stretch to celebrate 4th July as the Independence Day.
Packed tight in a Cavera & designer bomb Impala, enthusiastic of the trip,
Off to Maine, the land of Silver sea and Golden sun.
Dumb Charades & song games were our source of fun, while burgers, biryanis, theplas & chole, all filled up our tums .
Portland was our spot no 1 where the Old Orchid beach was leached with the bath n ball.
The light house then on a highland was a view with due beauty of light waves dashing against the rocks.
With a lure to see the fireworks, our search was on for a Indian restro.
In & thru the city of Portland,we stepped into the "Dancing Elephant"
"Howard Regency" was our place of sleep, with backdoor entries we left no flee.
8 on the bed,2 on the ground,we shed all our tiredness to noises and sound.
Day 2,all decked up,we set a 170 mile drive to the Acadia National Park.
At sunset, we saw Thunder bolt, the Park Loop road and Village green.
Serene, peaceful & quite they were, small little island amidst the vast land.
Photo shoot was all we did besides the "Bangkok" dinner & troubling the rummy boys with Jennifer's gummy gossips.
Cadiac Mountain s, Jordan Pond, Sand beach & the bar harbour were spots of the last day.
With lobster meat & Italian food,we strolled down the streets, wishing we had more days.
The time to turn has come back again, so let me tell you the story of all of them.
Joydeep, the Trip Master, was busy with redefining the good shots,on auto or manual mode,he would never leave his SLR.One thing he wouldn't forget is turn his cap round his head.
Jenish did love the drivers seat and the GPS,asked Kunjan every now and then for a health check :"bhuk lagichi"
Kunjan was bright and colourful, with designer dresses on the ramp, she was a pretty lace, pampering her belly round & round.
Deepak was the restro finder who drove to speed with Red Bull on the spree.
Aparna was the matching girl, with blue nail paint, clothes and earings, she carried 5 pair of chapals.
Rohin, who introduced "Jahn", did not hesitate to take off his shirt,at the beach, in the Sun,he loved to swim & play the ball.
Vanshika, finally found her lobster treat, after ironing a bag full of wet clothes, she managed to match the same color of clothes with her love ,the humble bee.
Anurag, loved his phone for private talks to the Kingdoms,he talked nonstop & was real fun.
Vivek wouldn't spare a chance to fag.
All he did was bird watching thinking his wife turned to photoshoot ing.
So did we all finally mix and have a happy trip.
A  happy trip to MAINE, to remember and cherish till time to come.
Compiled on 11-July-2013.
